Seminar Description:

Menopause isn’t just about hot flashes.

Are you battling a foggy brain, sleepless nights, muscle aches, mood swings and weight gain?  The truth is menopause affects your entire body.

Join our physician experts for a discussion about the biochemistry of menopause and how managing stress, nutrition, and your hormones work together to restore the body’s balance.

Dr. Angela LaSalle's practice includes treatment and evaluation of hormonal issues related to thyroid, metabolic syndrome and bio-identical hormone replacement. A strong believer that inflammation is the underlying cause of many diseases, she also incorporates nutritional supplementation and stress management into her treatment arsenal.

A graduate of Indiana University School of Medicine, Dr. LaSalle is board certified in Family Medicine with a fellowship in Integrative Medicine through the University of Arizona, a program founded by Andrew Weil, M.D.  Dr. LaSalle's focus has been in the field of Endocrinology, with special emphasis on the interplay of hormones, nutrition and lifestyle on the balance of the neurotransmitters and the immune system.

Dr. Ralph Waldo has a special interest in the biochemistry, physiology, and inflammatory responses that occur in the body and gastrointestinal tract affecting our genes and brain chemicals.

He looks at the interaction between our genetics and environment, including life style and diet to treat a client.  By utilizing this approach, it allows his clients to be proactive and participate in the practice of preventative medicine.

Believing that addressing all of these are necessary to fight disease, he places an emphasis on treating the body as a whole and looking for the common thread that leads to numerous degenerative processes.

Dr. Ralph Waldo received an M.S. in Physiology and Biophysics and his M.D. from the Indiana University School of Medicine and is board certified in Psychiatry and Neurology and in Psychopharmocology.
